Dr. Jay A. Tischfield Dr. Tischfield is Scientific Director of the RUCDR, MacMillan Professor and Chair of the Department of Genetics at Rutgers University (RU), Professor of Pediatrics and of Psychiatry at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS), and Director of New Jersey Human Genetics Institute. From 1987–1998, he was Director of the Division of Molecular Genetics and Professor of Medical Genetics, and Director of Cell and DNA Repositories, Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics, Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis. Dr. Tischfield is certified in Clinical Molecular Genetics and Ph.D. Medical Genetics by the American Board of Medical Genetics and is a Founding Fellow of the American College of Medical Genetics. Dr. Tischfield has over 35 years of cell culture experience and over 140 publications in gene identification and mapping and molecular genetics. Dr. Tischfield serves as the Principal Investigator for RUCDR grants and contracts.
