The chemical analysis services provided as part of the
BRTC are carried out in a state of the art chemical
analysis facility located in the EOHSI building on Busch
Campus at Rutgers University. Dr. Brian Buckley directs
the facility. It specializes in analytical methods
development and the training of young scientists. This
facility has both inorganic and organic analytical
capabilities highlighted by seven mass spectrometers.
The focus of the service provided is to assist principle
investigators with complicated sample analysis of
biological and environmental contaminants or their
metabolites. These analytical capabilities are available
on a fee for service basis to investigators both inside
and outside the University community.
